# Adnan Siddiqui Shares Insights on Choice of Forum in RERA and Consumer Disputes

Adnan Siddiqui was quoted by *Business Standard* in its article on choosing between remedies under RERA and consumer law.

Commenting on the application of the **doctrine of election**, Adnan noted that homebuyers cannot pursue parallel remedies or switch forums after choosing one for the same dispute. He further highlighted that once a RERA order attains finality, the same dispute generally cannot be reopened before another forum.
