Where the insurer’s response is unsatisfactory, policyholders may approach the Insurance Ombudsman. Siddartha further noted that an unresolved or inadequately addressed complaint may also be escalated to the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) through Bima Bharosa, providing policyholders with an additional avenue for grievance redressal.
