Amid ongoing discussions around proposed reforms addressing conflict of interest in the audit sector, Surbhi Kapoor has highlighted the potential long-term implications of stricter auditor independence measures on India’s corporate governance framework.

Speaking to Business Standard in its recent coverage of the proposed “cooling-off” Bill, Surbhi noted that the reforms could significantly influence both market perception and competitive dynamics within the auditing profession.
