  • Assisted a San Francisco headquartered private equity fund in connection with the infusion of USD 55 million in an Indian green energy company.
  • Represented a Florida headquartered private equity fund in connection with its infusion of USD 45 million in an Indian company in technology and analytics services space.
  • Represented a NY headquartered private equity find and a Singapore based private equity fund in relation to their USD 17 million investment in a Singapore headquartered company in logistics space with footprints in India, UAE, Africa and South East Asia.
  • Assisted a large Hong Kong based private equity fund with their acquisition of significant minority stake in Indian companies in precision engineering and infrastructure space for USD 14 million.
  • Assisted a Singapore based private equity fund in relation to many of their investments in 4 companies spread across India, USA, Vietnam and Singapore totalling USD 17 million.
  • Represented an Indian private equity fund in relation to its investment in multiple Indian companies ranging from cookies manufacturing company to industrial machine-tools company.
  • Assisted a Singapore based venture capital fund in relation to their investments made over a period of time in 5 companies spread across India, Korea and Indonesia and Singapore totalling USD 11 million.
  • Assisted a London headquartered venture capital fund in connection with their investments in 2 Indian companies.
  • Represented two Indian venture capital funds in relation to their investment in a specialized craft-beer manufacturing company.
  • Represented a Singapore headquartered venture capital fund with its investment in a company in EdTech space in Indonesia.
  • Represented a US headquartered company in clinical data and genome sequencing business with their fund raise by private equity investors.
  • Advised one of India’s largest e-commerce players in connection with their investment in a TV analytics, advertising and real time survey company.
  • Represented a Singapore headquartered company providing cloud connected POS billing solutions to mom-and-pop stores in its fund raise from multiple institutions including venture capital funds and government linked companies.
  • Advised a company in last mile delivery space and one in teacher accreditation space with their seed round funding.
  • Advisedacompanyinvolvedinthepurchaseandsaleofusedtwo-wheelers with their early-stage fund-raise.

Mergers & Acquisition

  • Represented an international airport operator in relation to its proposed acquisition of a significant minority stake in one of India’s largest airport operator.
  • Assisted a large US based MNC in precision valves business with its India leg of the global acquisition of business from a company in similar industry totalling USD 855 million.
  • Assisted the promoter of an Indian company in embedded systems and signal processing with his 100% stake sale to a large US Fortune 500 company in automotive and electronics space for US 22 million.

Corporate & Commercial

  • Acted as an external General Counsel to a large MNC in Singapore in e- commerce space, advising on their commercial, contractual matters and agreements, regulatory and fintech activities, retrenchment and labour related queries and requirements, mediations and disputes; and strategic advisory and involved handling multitude of legal jurisdictions like Singapore, India, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia and the US.
  • Assisted a large US based MNC in precision valves business with its labour law, Factories Act and other issues and multiple corporate, employment related agreements.
  • Advised a US headquartered Fortune 500 company in media space with its financing, ECBs and real estate related requirements.
  • Assisted a company in block-chain space with its internal contracts and agreements with vendors, partners and Governmental agencies.
  • Represented an investment and real-estate group in India in multiple transactions in India ranging from structuring their group entities to finalizing their JV with a ready-to-move-in office space provider to the acquisition of a pre-school chain.
  • Assisted a Singapore company in paints and chemical coating space and a London based company in manhole design and production with their high value employee disputes and large-ticket money recoveries.
  • Advised a Singapore headquartered company providing cloud connected POS billing solutions to mom-and-pop stores with multiple agreements including complex software and master services agreement.
