Adnan Siddiqui Shares Insights on Choice of Forum in RERA and Consumer Disputes

Adnan Siddiqui was quoted by Business Standard in its article on choosing between remedies under RERA and consumer law.

Commenting on the application of the doctrine of election, Adnan noted that homebuyers cannot pursue parallel remedies or switch forums after choosing one for the same dispute. He further highlighted that once a RERA order attains finality, the same dispute generally cannot be reopened before another forum.
