King Stubb & Kasiva Represents People Media Factory in Connection with Upcoming Film Garividi Lakshmi

King Stubb & Kasiva (KSK) represented People Media Factory in connection with its upcoming film Garividi Lakshmi, starring Kayal Anandhi and directed by Gowri Naidu Jammu. The film is slated for theatrical release on 17 October 2026.

Inspired by the life of the legendary folk singer Garividi Lakshmi, the film celebrates her contribution to the traditional art form of Burrakatha and highlights the role of folk performance as a medium of expression and social change.

KSK provided end-to-end legal and transactional support for the project, including structuring and negotiating production agreements and cast and crew engagement contracts, and advising on legal matters from the film’s inception through its release. The engagement reflects the firm’s work in advising stakeholders in the media and entertainment industry on the legal and contractual aspects of film production.
