Online Gaming Rules: Enforcement Powers May Signal Aggressive Regulatory Posture

The proposed enforcement architecture highlights the government’s focus on accountability and compliance within India’s growing online gaming sector, a space increasingly intersecting with data governance, financial integrity, and consumer protection norms.
