In light of the Supreme Court’s intervention in the JSW Steel–BPSL case — which is set to test the sanctity of settled cases under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) — Sukrit Kapoor, in a recent article by The Hindu BusinessLine, emphasized the critical importance of procedural efficiency in insolvency proceedings.

“This matter highlights the need for a robust and sharp judicial and professional approach to CIRPs. Protecting commercial wisdom and ensuring investor confidence can only be ensured through procedural efficiencies,” he said.
