She highlighted the significance of this move, stating, “The cabinet’s decision on extending insurance and pensionary benefits on completion of 65 years recognizes lawyers as a productive workforce, professionals discharging social responsibilities, and citizens enabling the justice mechanism.”

Sunayana further noted, “The legislative decision protects independently practicing lawyers, both young and aging, and creates a secure ecosystem within the legal fraternity. The decision may reverberate in legislative decisions of other states.”
