Maharashtra amends the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1953

The Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund Act has been further amended with the enactment of the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Act, 2024 vide notification dated March 18, 2024. Through the said amendment, sub-section 2 to Section 6BB of the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund Act has been substituted to amend the amount of contribution payable every six months in respect of every employee and an employer for each such employee.
