Manipur Notifies Manipur Shops And Establishments (Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Act, 2021

The Government of Manipur has published the Manipur Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2021 through notification dated November 2^nd ,2023 bearing No.: 2/29/2021-Leg/L. It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from June 29^th, 2021 and extend to all shops and establishments employing at least 10 workers. The said Act consolidates and amends laws relating to regulation of employment and incidental matters among others including registration of establishments, duties of employers, leave and holidays and welfare provisions.
