Multiple Notifications Regarding Making Aadhaar Mandatory to Avail Various Scheme Benefits

The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), operating under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India issued multiple notifications, namely S.O. 1265 (E), S.O. 1266 (E), S.O. 1259 (E), S.O. 1260 (E), S.O. 1261 (E), S.O. 1262 (E), S.O. 1263 (E), S.O. 1264 (E), S.O. 1267 (E), S.O. 1268 (E), S.O. 1269 (E), S.O. 1270 (E). This initiative is implemented through nine autonomous bodies and the said notification mandates the use of Aadhaar for individuals eligible to receive benefits under the Scheme of Institutes administered by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in India.
