No Deposit Of The Ordered Amount In 7a Inquiry During The Appeal Period 

The EPFO issued the notification dated 30.05.2023 following the orders of the Supreme Court in its judgment dated 22.02.2022, which states that the assessee enquired under Section 7A of the Employee Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 cannot be forced to deposit the amount within the appeal period and the coercive measures for the recovery will not be initiated until the appeal period is exhausted.
