Factories must also:

  • Display work period notices in compliance with Section 61 of the Factories Act and Rule 87 of the Puducherry Factory Rules, 1964.
  • Adhere to prescribed daily working hours under the Act.
  • Maintain accurate records of all women workers employed under this provision, as required by the Puducherry Factory Rules, 1964.
