Frequent Reporting

- such file should contain the information on all active accounts in the books of CI since the last reporting reference date.
Regulatory Check
- CICs to report on DAKSH Portal the CIs which failed to adhere to the data submission timelines.
- A new clause is inserted in the existing directions which mention that a CI shall report Central KYC (CKYC) number of its borrowers as and when available.
- The amendments extend to various institutions including ARCs, NBFCs, AIFIs and various Banks.
Rectification Mechanism
- The rejected data shared by CICs is to be rectified and shall be re-submitted to the CICs along with submission of data of subsequent reporting reference date.
Uniformity in Data Compliance
- Further, specifically for the Credit Information Companies, it is mandatory to frame uniform data acceptance validation rules and share those rules with the respective Cis so that rejection remains minimal and any such rejection is to be reported with the CI within 03 calendar days of their receipt.
- CICs are mandated to implement a uniform Online Maintenance Format and relevant associated encryption standards, upgrading the MIS and data compliance software.
