The government of Karnataka amends the Karnataka Tax on Profession, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1976 to revise the rate of tax for salary or wage earners

The government of Karnataka vide notification no. DPAL 08 SHASANA 2025 dated April 15, 2025 has brought in an amendment through the Karnataka Tax on Profession, Trades, Callings and Employments (Amendment) Act, 2025. The said amendment act has revised the rate of tax to INR 200 per month (except for the month of February) and INR 300 for the month of February, for the salary or wage earners.
