Govt pension portal for defence personnel SPARSH suffers data breach- January 08, 2024

The Digitalized Pension processing scheme system, SPARSH, which offers online pension-related facilities to over 30 (thirty) lakhs pensioners from 50 (fifty) organizations, suffered a massive data breach, adding the portal to a series of data breaches that have taken place over recent months. While the exact details of the breach have not been disclosed yet, CERT-In has stated that “We are already in the process of taking appropriate action with the concerned authority”
