Online Licensing Under The Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970

The Office of the Chief inspector of Factories and Boilers, Government of Puducherry, in its Order[1] stated that the services of application for licenses and renewal of licenses under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970 by factories in Puducherry, Mahe and Yanam regions, for engaging contract workmen under the said Act, will be provided through online mode only. On approval, the certificate can be downloaded from the online portal anytime.
