Remit Labour Welfare Fund Dues On Or Before January 15, 2023

In its Press Note dated December 12, 2022, the Government of Karnataka has directed the establishments covered under the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965 to remit the contributions towards the labour welfare fund on or before January 15, 2023, for the year 2022. The Press Note states that the failure to remit the contribution amount within the timeframe shall attract interest as prescribed, and may lead to an inspection of records by the authorities to initiate legal proceedings for the non-payment of contribution.
